What is Section 179?
Section 179 is an IRS tax code that allows businesses to deduct up to 100% of the cost of qualifying equipment in the year the equipment is placed into service. You can purchase a new or used vehicle. However, it must be used for business purposes at least 50% of the time. There are a few other considerations we'd like to show you.

Qualifying Ford Models
